Avon Custom (EST. 1989)

After many years in the motor vehicle and vehicle construction trades, Kevin Buckley formed Avon Classic Cars to cater for the restoration and repair of classic cars.

By forming his own business this meant he could turn out work to his very own high standard, and not be governed by businesses wanting to make high profit at the expense of quality.

The business soon grew as did Avon Classic's reputation for quality and workmanship. Taking over an adjacent work shop meant he could pursue his love of custom painting which ran nicely alongside the restoration work, until eventually the two had to separate, hence Avon Custom came to be.

In the companies later years Avon Custom took on dealerships/ agencies to supply a selection of top quality products. This, with his 35 Years experience in the motor trade, Kevin and his team were catering for most things whilst maintaining that family run attention to detail and quality.

As with much of the motortrade Avon Custom hit hard times with customers cancelling work booked in due to their own finantial difficulties and many people choosing to use budget bodyshops for their work for the same reason. Kevin chose to close the company rather than compromising the time and attention to detail they have always put into their work to reduce cost.

Kevin can still be found painting vehicles for himself, family and friends, so expect to see a few more stunning paint jobs with the Avon Custom name on them.
